Dr. Pratap is a student of Swâmî Kuvalayânandaji and is the Founder/Director of SKY Foundation, President of the Yoga Research Society, Director of the Yoga Program, Jefferson-Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine, and author of Beginning Yoga, Yoga Vision, Secrets of Hatha Vidya, and Stories Retold. He served at India’s Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute as Lecturer of Yoga and Mental Health, Assistant Director of Scientific Research, and Managing Editor of YOGA MIMAMSA. Dr. Pratap has presented papers and conducted workshops at institutions and conferences worldwide. This program will include traditional Yoga postures, breathing techniques, relaxation and meditation practices, and a discussion of Classical Yoga’s contributions to health.

Dress to stretch and bring a mat to lie on.

Ljuba Lemke, D.M.D., Ph.D.

German-born Dr. Lemke graduated as a dentist in 1980 and received her Ph.D. in dentistry in 1983. After experiencing the benefits of Homeopathy in her own life to overcome Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, she decided to study Complementary and Alternative Medicine becoming licensed as a “Heilpraktikerin,” the equivalent of a Doctor of Naturopathy. After practicing in Germany for ten years, Dr. Lemke moved to the U.S. in 1996, where she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and worked as Assistant Clinical Professor. In 2002 she was introduced to Advanced Lightwire Functionals, an approach to orthodontics she has pursued ever since. Dr. Lemke sees patients at her practice in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, where she focuses on a whole-body approach to orthodontics. She lectures internationally about Homeopathy, Holistic Health, and a Holistic Approach to Dentistry.

Scott M. Fried, D.O., F.A.O.A.O.

Dr. Fried is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, fellowship-trained hand surgeon and a hand and upper extremity specialist, and a fellow with the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics. President of the Upper Extremity Institute, Dr. Fried has treated thousands of patients with complex nerve problems. He has also lectured and written extensively in the areas of pain and nerve disease. His books, Light at the End of the Carpal Tunnel: A Guide to Understanding and Relief from the Pain of Nerve Problems and The Carpal Tunnel Help Book, grew out of his experience, research and in-depth understanding of nerve-related traumas.  His presentation will focus on alternative treatments, hypnosis, staying healthy, and avoiding surgery.
